I believe that not only do we need to understand the basics of ghost hunting to move the field forward but we need to also test the numerous theories out there. Lets remember that the paranormal field is still very much unknown that as we test one theory another crops up, for some of these theories new tools need to be developed or invented, however testing a theory can be difficult when your the only one testing it.
