I can see where one might get that impression, but these were taken from approximately 15 feet away. I should have added a note that these were taken zoomed in. We have found the maximum range of this illuminator to be 25-30 feet, any further and it fades considerably. This is more than adequate for normal sized rooms.

It should also be noted that these are no longer available for sale on the site, I purchased mine when they first became available on a first come, first serve basis.

Ive actually been using mine with a long exposure, obviously the camera is mounted and infact I use the remote to snap the photo this means there no movement at all of the camera. And Ive actually gotten some interesting results however I cant publish the photo until such time as it has been aired on SyFy (if you know what I mean)
